Thank You for booking with us

Here are a few tips for you to help you prepare and get the most out of your photo shoot.
Day of your shoot,
show up 15 minutes early
be prepared if you want any props, people or other things be ready!!
have a list of images you want, we can focus on the most important, and go through them till we are out of time.

Family/Groups,
you do not need to match but avoid busy prints and text,  solid colors tend to be more timeless.  Commuinicat to the group what you are hoping for, help set the expectation so everyone knows what they are doing, give everyone the freedome to make suggestiions as to what they want.  depending on your group if they run late, plan a small activity before so everyone shows up to the "pre game" giving a buffer to get to the studio together and having just had an activity will help remove some anxicoty for those that might be nervious.  if your group is punctual plan an activity after as a reward taking advantage of the time together.

Children (under 4),
pick a time when they would have just woken up, I have noticed early is better for most children.
if they have any special toys, snacks, or favorite comforting objects, bring them.
Extra clothes... (it happens) be ready for spit up or other outfit changes if necessary.

Pets,
Similar to young children, bring toys and treats.

Bands,
what are your needs, press kit images need to be clear on who you are, album art can be more "artistic" and show more of your creativity?  knowing who your audience is will help you determine what is best.  wear clothes that you would wear on stage, or work with a stylist to help you achieve the look you are going for.

Headshots,
corporate, bring a few options.  with and without a coat, today even in the corporate environment showing your personality is becoming more encouraged.  In advance determine what your goals are and how you want to be represented in your image.

Models,
bring clothes, remember shoes, makeup, accessorites.  be ready to move!! practice if you can with different facial expressions and poses, know what you're good at!! work on things you're not.  consider what type of work you are trying to get.  looking good is great but being able to show a range of emotions and looks will take you further.
